Communities Coming Together
From 26 February to 2 March 2024, the 18th Annual Tasmanian Roadside Appeal successfully raised over $62,000 in support of our programs at the Launceston General Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, and North West Regional Hospital.
Our incredible team of volunteers, Clown Doctors and staff travelled from Invermay to Hobart over the week, meeting some of Tasmania’s most generous givers as they stopped traffic to donate. The sense of community, generosity and gratitude of Tasmanians is truly humbling, and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you who made this appeal such a success.
Special thanks to Hyundai for providing us with the Lol Express Van, making this roadside appeal possible.
Our gratitude extends to our dedicated team of long-standing volunteers, as well as Jo Palmer MLC, Dr Saurus-Rex, Dr Wing It, Dr B Positive and Dr Sherbert, as well as the hospital axillaries. A special thank you also goes out to the wonderful Tassie community for your unwavering support!
Our Annual Holiday Appeal was also a success, raising much-needed funds for our Clown Doctors programs nationally. Thank you to those of you who gave, especially over the holiday period when times can be tough.
